SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - NSW Premier Kristina Keneally has stopped short of promising struggling
NSW families more money to counter the impact of a carbon tax.

Ms Keneally supports the proposed carbon tax and emissions trading scheme announced
by the federal government on Thursday.

But the commonwealth is facing a massive scare campaign, with the opposition claiming
it could push up power bills by $300 a year.
