Fed: Qantas risking waterfront-style dispute, union says
SYDNEY, Feb 21 AAP - Qantas could be setting itself up for a bitter dispute of thekind that tore apart Australia's waterfront in 1998, the flight attendants' union warnedtoday.
The airline intended to employ undertrained contract labour to replace cabin crewson international flights when flight attendants strike for 14 hours on Tuesday, the FlightAttendants' Association of Australia (FAAA) said.
