John Hancock Mutual Funds Gets 3 Internet Advertising Awards from the Web Marketing Association.

John Hancock Mutual Funds announced that it received three awards from the Web Marketing Association (WMA) during their annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC).

According to a release, the IAC Awards were created by the WMA to recognize the best in online marketing and advertising from individuals and organizations.

John Hancock won three "Best of Industry" IAC awards for the 'Roth Conversion Campaign,' including: Best Investment Online campaign, Best Marketing Online campaign, and Best Mutual Fund Online campaign.

"John Hancock Mutual Funds is dedicated to helping financial advisors meet client needs, and web content such as the Roth Conversion Campaign demonstrates our commitment. Each year the IAC awards recognize, honor and showcase the best in online advertising in 86 separate industries. I would like to congratulate all who worked on the tools, print collateral, videos and web content for this campaign. We are very proud of this recognition of the Marketing team's hard work," said Carey Foran Hoch, Senior VP, Head of Marketing and General Manager, College Savings for John Hancock Funds.

The Web Marketing Association (WMA) was founded to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development on the World Wide Web. Staffed by volunteers, this organization is made up of Internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals who share an interest for improving the quality of advertising, marketing and promotion used to attract visitors to corporate Web sites. The Web Marketing Association is the producer of the WebAwards, an annual award competition that is designed to judge corporate Web sites against an Internet standard and against peer sites within their industry.
