Acer, a major IT products provider, has signed a partnership with Saudi Telecom (STC) where the two companies will offer packages that combine the latest Acer devices, and STC's best communication technologies.
Under this partnership, customers in Saudi Arabia will benefit from a special offer on Aspire One D255 device once they subscribe to Quicknet Action 2 package, where they will receive for free an Aspire device, 7.2 Mbps modem, postpaid data SIM card, and a 5 GB/month subscription with free Wi-Fi service, a statement said.
Customers that buy Acer devices can also benefit from receiving a free modem, a prepaid internet SIM card and one month internet package. These offers will be available to customers through Acer distributers' retail stores.
"STC is always committed to guarantee its services to access its largest customer base in Saudi Arabia, and mobile technologies occupies most of our attention in the upcoming stage, which is why we partnered with Acer, one of the most important trademarks in the world, in order to give customers the possibility to access the internet at all times," said Jameel bin Abdullah Almulhem, vice president of STC personal unit.
Mohammed Al Hilili, sales manager at Acer Saudi Arabia, stated: "Acer has created a pioneering location for its self in the Kingdom's market, and we are proud now to have signed this partnership with a national company like STC."
"Acer through its marketing strategy aims seriously to achieve its goals by acquiring the largest share in the IT market in the Kingdom," he added.
